Official nightly attendance best in festival’s 9 year history!
We would like to thank everyone that helped to make the 9th Annual Florida Music Festival officially the biggest yet! All four nights of FMF2010 broke previous one night attendance records, with Friday night being the largest and possibly craziest crowd in FMF’s 9 year history. CAPACITY CROWD FOR THE CONFERENCE!
Panels featured the music industry networking event of the year!
A capacity crowd welcomed Monte and Avery Lipman on Saturday to kick off what may be the networking event of the year for musicians and music students alike. “I used to be one of those kids in the audience! I’m glad to be able to meet them and give them any advice we can offer,” Monte said after spending nearly an hour talking one on one with the musicians, and UCF, Full Sail and FIRST students that attended. The panels featured all aspects of the music industry, and many familiar faces locally and nationally including Jeff Hanson, Steve Robertson, Chris Kirkpatrick, Dirk Hemseth and many more. FMF2010: INDIE FILM JAM Official Selections!
Congratulations to Vera, Avi Wisnia, Million Year Echo, Frequency 54 and Chelsea Automatic as the Official Selections of the 2010 Indie Film Jam. As a component of The Florida Music Festival, IFJ walks in stride with FMF to create a weekend celebrating artists in the realm of music & film. These artists performed stripped down acoustic sets at 57 West on Friday, April 23rd before screening their Music Videos as part of the 6th Annual Indie Film Jam!
